Authorities Search for KY Woman Indicted for Trafficking Cocaine
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division of Paducah, Kentucky is asking the public to help them located a woman indicted for trafficking cocaine. Lakeisha T. Elmore, 30, was recently indicted by a McCracken County Grand Jury for trafficking cocaine after allegedly selling cocaine to confidential source last month. She has family in the area and authorities say she may try to visit them.
Three Arrested in Florida for Selling Cocaine
In Florida, police arrested three people for of selling cocaine near an elementary school and an assisted living facility. The three people arrested are Steven Christopher Johnston, Garry Martin Decker, and Marissa Leigh Decker. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, detectives made three undercover purchases before raiding a home near Kingway Elementary School and Sandhill Gardens Retirement Center. Following the raid on the home, authorities found an unlocked safe containing 2 grams of cocaine in plastic baggies, cocaine residue in 17 others, 84 unused baggies, cut plastic straws with residue, a bowl and a baggie of marijuana. Thirty-year-old Steven Christopher Johnston was charged with three counts each of drug paraphernalia possession, sale and delivery of cocaine with 1,000 feet of a school, and sale and delivery of cocaine with 1,000 feet of an assisted living facility. Twenty-nine-year-old Garry Martin Decker, was also charged with three counts of sale and delivery of cocaine with 1,000 feet of a school, two counts of cocaine possession, two counts of drug paraphernalia possession and one count of sale and delivery of cocaine with 1,000 feet of an assisted living facility. Thirty-one-year-old Marissa Leigh Decker was charged with sale and delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school.
Texas Man Found with 90 Kilos of Cocaine
Thirty-five-year-old Juan Rios of Texas was arrested for trafficking cocaine following a routine traffic stop near Leeds, AL. During the traffic stop, Jefferson County Deputies discovered and seized 90 kilograms of cocaine in a hidden compartment of Rios’ truck. The street value of 90 kilos of cocaine is just over five million dollars.
900 Grams of Cocaine Seized in Maryland
Authorities in Prince Frederick, Maryland seized 900 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $90,000, following a four-month investigation of crime ring that supplied drugs to Southern Maryland. The Calvert County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit made one arrest and also seized $14,000 and a Chevy SUV. Six search warrants were served by the Calvert Investigative Team, Calvert's Special Operations Team, Emergency Service Teams from St. Mary's and Charles counties, Maryland State Police and the Drug Enforcement Agency and charges are still pending for other involved individuals.
